New Creation Wilderness Programs

are intended to help people live closely and comfortably with the natural world, and to help people recognize and experience the healing, transforming presence of God in nature. Ultimately, the experience of God in nature can lead to an even deeper contemplative vision, where we experience all Creation as abiding in, emerging from, and returning to God at every moment. While it is not possible to ‘teach’ this vision, we can make ourselves available to God through learning to relate to Creation in a sacred manner.

Mission Statement

The mission of New Creation Wilderness Programs is to empower people to become more fully alive through living in deeper relationship with God, with Creation, and with their own deepest selves. Rooted in the ancient Christian understanding that nature is a manifestation of the wisdom and love of God, we offer programs in nature awareness, traditional wilderness skills and contemplative Christian spirituality.

To Attend or Run a Program:

The calendar on this website contains a listing of the public classes offered by New Creation this year.  All are welcome, and please contact us to sign up for one of these  classes or to get more information.  New Creation also regularly runs private classes for interested churches, schools, retreat centers or other organizations.  If you have a group that would benefit from this type of experience, or would like to host a program in our area, we would be happy to discuss custom building a program to fit your needs.
